(please excuse me if we discussed this already) why are the striations of inconsistent widths? if i remember correctly, the rhythm didn't vary much and each sentence was pretty much the same length, no?
the different bandwidths are visually seperating the distinct performative operations. The structure is fluid because the joke is a long run-on sentence- but within each sentence of the joke there were different verb operations- such as nesting, shifting, scaling, etc... so each band seperates one group of TV operations from the next.
