comments from critic were; improve
operation of your apparatus is needed, joint connections could be
more literal(hands), try revising
the priority between the physical
and mental.

Some of the comments I heard were: The scale of the goggles are too large; Use real mirrors instead of the reflective tape because the reflection is too obscured. Also, don't forget what Michael said about Material = Feminine/Mental = Masculine and how you should reverse the mental and physical connections.

with the material/mental feminine/masculine....since there are issues with the styrene surface i was considering ditching it and working with the softness/hardness of different materials instead...what do you guys think

I think that you may be on to something there. Softness/hardness do have a male/female connection. ie - Ski poles = masculine (hard), snow = feminine (soft) and the penetration of one into the other.

Maybe the head board of the bed is soft 'cos then there would be that penetration of the hard (poles) into the soft (head board)

Michael also mentioned something about homosexuality: Maybe that is also something that you can further investigate.

You may also reconsider, in regards to the bed post, sanding the hand portion of it in order to establish a clearer distinction between the hand and the ski pole (the soft and the hard). This may be a little too literal though so I would run the idea by other people. What do you guys think?

a quick comment...
don't ditch the styrene....
it is something hard posing as something soft...
and
you are getting somewhere with it...
don't give up.
just finish the project as intended ....
make it work.
