consider being cautious of introducing a victim, a comment michael made for several projects...marc's suggestion of many little silouhettes that are discerned as bodies only upon closer inspection seems like a solution
it would be impossible to do that to the corrugated pvc, but maybe you can use a different material and simply laser cut all the little people out.
consider the contrast of seeing/blindness and enlightenment/ignorance
"we all have blood on our hands" leave traces on the user's body
the soundtrack to your video should be interesting with the spinning of the wheel and the splattering of the paint
Yeah, I was thinking about that alot last night. I was thinking of starting the video with just the sound of the pulleys in operation (while the screen is all black) and, of course, using the splattering of the blood and the blood on the hands of the operator.
As far as the victim is concerned, I was never really happy with the cut out, but due to time constraints, had to go with the most convenient solution. Now that I have a little more time, I will revise it.
