would this be more successful if the first syllable of the words had been revealed instead of berg and nese..? such as chi,jap,viet complemented by the image of the bomb would cause the viwer/reader to make the associative judgement...
I would say that the shared 'suffix' would be implied if stein, gold, and ice, appeared to the left of the image. It works because the image is a berg..its what these three 'prefixes' share... but would it be as clear with the image of the map that is removed completely from -nese?
