Bathroom Humor: Joke 3:
A woman's husband dies, and she goes to the preist to set up
his funeral. The preist looks at her and says, "Madam, Your
husband was an upstanding individual, part of the 4H club, a
volunteer firefighter, an active member in the church, but
there is this concern about his association with the KKK."
The woman's face turned white. "W-w-what do you mean she
stuttered?" And the preist replied, "you know, one of those
monsters under the sheets..." A wide smile swept across her
face and began to blush " oh yes! he was definately one of
those!"

Philosophy: There philosophy behind this joke is Relativity of context within the philosophy of language. Where a statement can be perfectly valid in two different contexts, and is the carelessness of human syntax that can cause these miscommunications. Jose's joke about the vegetable garden, and the gunman, have concurrent philosophies to this one.

here is a diagram that shows the ambiguity of the sheet. where on one side the mourning wife sees one thing, and on the other side the preist sees something else- much like deciphering the ambiguity of clouds -the resultant is attempting a convoluted dialogue, the disalignment of understanding is where the humor of the joke emerges.
